while sitting in the back yard with moses and jake on a beautiful sunday afternoon i noticed two things (one thing i already knew and one thing was brand new information)

1st: my son is ADORABLE!!

2nd: i can see mt. rainier from my back yard!!!!

(who cares if it's a bit of an odd view!?! it's still beautiful!)

have i ever mentioned how much i love living where i live? cause i love it. sure it's not a perfect dream house...and certainly not a perfect neighborhood. but, it's still pretty great!

p.s. i love my new computer. maybe i'll blog about that next

some fun

it has been a beautiful week here in the 'claw (beautiful but, freeeezzing!!) i wish that i had a better camera so that i could capture some of it a little better.

the next morning jake and i were doing one of our favorite thing, driving around. we came across a field of elk. it was pretty amazing.

this week i went to the Victorian Country Christmas Festival with my 'sister' and mom. we had lots of fun just wandering around looking at all the christmasy (and some not so christmasy) things.
then i ate my first ever Piroshky. it's russian pastry filled with mean and cheese. it was pretty good...although, it really could've used some sour cream!

and i had a cow chip cookie for the first time in probably 15 years! i was pretty great. and let me tell you, no one was happier than chiara:
it's going to be a fun/busy weekend. parades, christmas tree, in-laws...tons of fun! the weather is even suppose to hold out and keeping being wonderfully cold!

today i woke up feeling pretty grumpy. but i fought all urge to let the grumpiness take over. i was determined to get out and have some family fun if it killed me. we made it downtown for the street fair. it was a little lame. but we managed to find some (free) fun :)

it was so hot today so we came home and played in the kiddie pool & relaxed with our boys.

i'm not so much looking forward to the heat that is coming over the next week. but, we'll live...maybe.

not only did i get my WHOLE list done...i went above and beyond! here is what else i got done:

√ clean my closet & bedroom

√ cleaned the boys bedroom

√ scrubbed the kitchen counters and everything on them

√ took the cushions off the couch and vacuumed under there (so gross)

√ washed all the guest bedding & made beds

√ washed grubby hand prints off of everything

it feels so good to have my house clean and just the way i want it!! and i just needed there to be evidence out there that it can happen :)
